Get to Know....Scout, Director of Morale/VPB (Vice Pooch of Barketing)/Girl's Best Friend!
1. When did you meet your human ? October 2008. I can't believe it's been almost 7 years!
2. How did you meet your human? A nice human named Colleen Rogers found me on the side of the road in Bush, LA. I was just a tyke...had to be around 8 weeks old or so. I'm not sure if I wondered away from my home or if some mean human dropped me off there, but what I do know is that the nice human took very good care of me and wanted to find me a forever home. Through her, I ended up on some kind of email thingy where more nice humans were trying to find homes for others just like me! Then one day, the most wonderful thing happened...a human named Melissa saw my adorable face in her email box thingy and said "I HAVE TO HAVE HIM!"...long story short, after a lengthy interview process, the 2 humans met in a mall parking lot and made the drop! The human they call Melissa, I now call MOM! My life has been forever changed. I'm pretty sure Moms has too!
3. What is your favorite thing about your human? Mom loves me unconditionally. Oh, and she takes me for lots of car rides! I love sticking my head out the window and letting the wind blow through my golden locks.
4. Do you have a favorite quote? Yes.."You can't buy love, but you can rescue it"~ not sure who said it tho.
5. What is something that not many people know about you? I'm not only beautiful, but I'm very intelligent! Don't judge a book by it's cover!
6. What inspires you? To make humans smile when they see me.
7. What is your biggest achievement or what are you most proud of? How happy I make my mom.
8. What's the silliest thing your human has ever done to you? There are sooo many! 1) She tries rocking me like a baby human...I am NOT a baby human! 2) She dressed me up in a hat and gloves b/c she didn't want me to freeze to death. Really, it was strictly for entertainment purposes. She's weird like that. I'll stop there so that I don't embarrass her any further.
9. A few of my favorite things are...My Mom, of course. Then there are sweet potatoes, Greek yogurt, homemade dog treats (or any treat for that matter), boiled eggs (I come running at the crack of one!), squeaky toys, car rides, licking humans (especially feet, or any part covered in lotion or bath soap).
10. What is one piece of advice you can give to others? Be the human your dog thinks you are. Hmm...that's deep!
