Announcing the launch of Parkinson's Support Group!

Hammond, LA - Those living with Parkinson's disease in the Greater Hammond, LA area now have somewhere to turn to for support. The Parkinson's Support Group for the Greater Hammond Area launched its first meeting on August 3rd. The purpose of this non-formal group is to share information, support and fellowship among those living with PD, their care partners, families and friends. We would like to thank North Oaks Medical Center for allowing our group to meet there on campus. The meetings will be held at the E. Dufreche Conference Center in the Diagnostic Center on Paul Vega Drive. The group will be headed by Chuck DeBlieux and Melissa Cantrell and will take place monthly. The meeting dates for the remainder of 2015 have been set as September 21st, October 5th, November 2nd and December 7th. Guest speakers will be in attendance and refreshments will be served.
